Dear readers, tonight with us is a young man, often considered the charming golden boy of his school. Yet is he just a pretty face, or does he cynically use his good looks to mask his involvements in the recent disappearance of several schoolgirls? And why does he suddenly haunt the dreams of one particular girl, a girl who seems decidedly uninterested in him?

Read on to find more from Chance.

Tell us a little about where you grew up. What was it like there?

You like trees? You would love where I grew up. I come from a small town in Illinois that’s nothing but trees. The population is so small it’s next to impossible to have friends outside of your family. It was okay though. A bit lonely but that all changed when I moved to Lima. I can say it made me stronger but I’m definitely built for a larger environment. A large fish in a small pond doesn’t thrive for long after all.

So you moved to Ohio by yourself? Didn’t you miss your family?

All things pass with time. I had my eye on the prize and honestly didn’t stop and think about the handful of people I was leaving behind. I’m better off where I’ve ended up.

So what are some things you’ve done using your gift?

Nothing I feel should be spoken out loud.

What can you tell us about your latest adventure?

As we grow we learn new things and my nightly expeditions are no different. I have dreams that I hope to accomplish in my life…literally. Some of them are pretty cookie cutter boring but others are fantastic and out of this world.

What did you first think when Luna rejected you?

It wasn’t anger so much as shock. I’m a charming guy, anyone can tell you that, so being turned down threw me for a loop. I honestly thought she was joking and when I realized she was serious, it hit me hard. I couldn’t figure out what about it turned her off since other women melt at my feet from a simple passing glance.

What was the scariest thing in your adventures?

Losing control of not only myself but the situation. I pride myself on being able to think elaborate plans but when emotions come into the mix, it’s all too easy to lose myself in them.

What is the worst thing about your ability?

There is a lot to it. Navigating dreams sounds fantastic until you realize it doesn’t come with a manual. You learn by trial and error…and the errors can be substantial.

What is the best thing about it?

I’m powerful. I’m practically a God and I can live my life knowing I’m in absolute control.

Tell us a little about your friends.

I don’t have many friends. Don’t get me wrong, my people skills are outstanding, but I’m more of a loner at heart. I function better on my own without other people dragging me down.

So…the thing with Luna? What would you call that?

I plead the fifth.

Whom (or what) do you really hate?

I hate when people stick their nose where it doesn’t belong. Really, this business is between me and Luna, but Max makes sure his presence is always known.

What do you do for fun?

Here’s another question I’m not so sure I should answer.

What does the future hold for you?

I’ve learned a lot from my most recent adventure. It’s all information that will be put to good use, though sometimes it’s best to rely on myself, no magic required.

Can you share a secret with us, which you’ve never told anyone else?

I lied. Earlier, when I said I didn’t miss anyone when I left my hometown. I have a sister, Layanna, and I hold her close to my heart. I miss her every day and if I ever get the chance, I plan to see her again. One way or another.
